Monetize???

What on earth does "monetize" mean? I haven't the foggiest, but the word appears on one of four tabs labeled "posting," "settings," "layout," and "monetize" which are there to be deciphered. I think I know what they mean, but I'm not sure, and I don't know how to use them. Since I now know what to do to write a new post (sign in), I can risk playing with my mouse, nipping at all the mysterious words, tabs, phrases that decorate the page. I could, of course, read a manual, but manuals are too complicated and boring. Or I could call tech support, but I contact them only when in dire need. What I do is pretend I'm a child of four with the curiosity of an Edison. I play with my mouse, a nice pet. I don't worry about losing files, erasing memory,or feeling like the Old Baguette that I am. Mouse, are you ready? Good. Nip away! I can't wait to get to "Comment Moderation." Doesn't that sound vaguely obscene?
